This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit agnetic-ai.com (or agnetic-ai.co.uk), sign up for our free Research Agent, contact us, or buy a product.
1. Who we are
Agnetic AI is a trading name of Keith Duncan, a sole trader based in Scotland ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR.

2. What we collect
- Email address: if you sign up for the free Research Agent or contact us.
- Messages you send us: the content of any support or general enquiries.
- Purchase information: Gumroad handles checkout and payment. We never see or store your card details. Gumroad shares your name, email address and order details with us so we can support your purchase.
- Basic technical data: standard server and security logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited), collected automatically by our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To send you the free Research Agent and occasional emails with product updates and tips. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
- To provide products you've bought, handle refunds and give support. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
- To keep financial records. Lawful basis: legal obligation (tax and accounting law).
- To answer general enquiries and keep the website secure and working. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a secure business and responding to people who contact us.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of services to run this business:
- Gumroad: checkout, payment, tax and product delivery. As merchant of record, Gumroad also processes your purchase data under its own privacy policy.
- Formspree: collects your email address when you sign up for the free Research Agent.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
- Fasthosts: our business email.
We never sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
5. International transfers
Some of these services are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum, standard contractual clauses or the UK-US data bridge. Each provider's privacy policy explains the safeguards it uses.
6. When you use our products
When you use our AI agents and workflows, your prompts and any data you give them are sent to the services you choose to connect (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Tavily, n8n, Gmail or Notion), under those services' own privacy policies. We don't receive, see or store any of it. Check your providers' data policies before using agents with customer or confidential information.
7. How long we keep it
- Purchase and financial records: for as long as tax law requires (usually around 6 years).
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.
- Support and enquiry emails: up to 2 years after our conversation ends, unless they relate to a purchase.
- Technical logs: for the periods set by Cloudflare.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time
To use any of these rights, email hello@agnetic-ai.com. We'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
9. Cookies
We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from malicious traffic; these don't track you across other websites. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.
10. Children
Our website and products aren't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
